The MVR has once again been invited back for the most elaborate & varied living history festival in the Midwest. Historical camps on the grounds of the Audrain County Historical Museum Complex this year include: Vikings in America, Medieval Swordsmen, Pirates, 1770s Colonists, 1830s Mountain Men, 1860 Pony Express, 1860s Civil War, Native American, 1880s Wild West, 1918 World War I, 1920s Suffragettes, 1940s World War II, 1950s Korea, 1970s Vietnam and of course our MVR Model “A”s joined by Jeff Buckley’s stunning 1925 Moon. We’ll drive backroads from St. Charles to Mexico, MO and spend the night of September 27 at the Best Western. There is one remaining double queen room available out of the 15 that the MVR has reserved. Please let Gene know if you’re interested in joining this tour and have not signed up yet.
