Washington MO MVR tour

We had 13 Model A's and a '56 T-bird travel the hilly back roads through Labadie Mo. onto Washington Mo. on a beautiful fall day.  Gary Puellmann led the group to our first stop which was the  Missouri Meerschaum Corn Cob Pipe Company that started business in 1869.  After a very interesting tour of their museum, the group ended up at Cowans Restaurant for a very satisfying meal.  Cowans has been in business for over 50 years and is famous for their wonderful pies.  Following lunch, we all traveled down to the Missouri River for some group photos by Gene Cogorno.  Our last stop was at the Washington Historical Society History Museum with lots of interesting artifacts and exhibits for all to enjoy.

Walk Back in Time Weekend Trip 9/23-9/24/23

The Missouri Valley Region had a wonderful overnight trip to Mexico, Mo.  We had 10 Model A's in our caravan, some on their first voyage outside of St. Louis.  Although the weather forecast was questionable, we were able to dodge the rainstorms on both Saturday and Sunday.  The Audrain County Historical Society did a fabulous job in putting together an unforgettable Walk Back in Time event.  There was something for everyone including Old West themes, Vikings, Civil War, WWI, WWII and Vietnam displays including battlefield reenactments and of course we were the featured car club.  Head organizer, Paul Baum, rode in with the Model A's as we honked our horns and announced ourselves.
